UNITY HATHA YOGA CLASSES IN BRIGHTON
Participants are encouraged to honour
their own human differences no matter what
their age or level of expertise.
The Maitri classes are based mainly around the
Asanas in order to promote a secure foundation
of Physical consciousness and stability. The
UNITY training ensures an underpinning
philosophy of all the traditional aspects of
Yoga.
Classes contain some, free flowing combinations
of Asanas, along with warm ups and gentle
investigation into key areas of the body and
breath to gain more insight into the postures of
an Integral Hatha practice.
Classes are usually themed and explore selected
components of an overall Yoga practice-
Pranayama (breath), Mantra (sound), Meditation
(quiet focus), Yoga Nidra ( lead concious
relaxation), Mudras (gesture of the hands).
